Did I say I liked the warmth?

OK, well maybe I do like it when it is cozy, but this heat..it is like the cat days of August..some say (dog days) but I refuse to call them that! I think that some days are just plain too hot! I like to hang out in my favorite place above the refrigerator when it gets like this. I am happy on the tall cabinets. It is so hot, I don't even feel like playing with my toys! This is serious folks! Lucky, MOMMY has a great water supply for me. The scuttlebutt is she is even thinking of getting me a fountain..woot, woot! Yes, my MOMMY is the greatest, but then again, I am the greatest cat..so she doesn't have much to complain about! I will check in soon, and let you know about my next adventures!

It's getting warmer and I like it!

Even though I really love cuddling with MOMMY, I do like that it is a bit more comfortable in here now. I don't have to tuck my feet under my fur anymore to keep from getting cold. I hate the summer because it gets way too hot, but Spring, Fall and Winter are usually just fine for me! I was sitting in the sunbeam today in the sanctity of my perch and I thought it is really nice in here, a cat could get used to this! Anyway, it is too bad it doesn't stay like this all year round in my opinion. I could have fresh catnip from outside anytime I wanted! Yay catnip..but seriously, I am enjoying the spring and I hope you are too!

Looking For Trouble

Well today, I have been sitting on my perch with my great view of the world. So far I have seen waving tree branches, and the fat squirrel who runs around looking like he owns the place. I don't really want to go out in the world because it seems like a pretty scary place to me, but I do enjoy viewing it from the safety and sanctity of my perch. This is the best place I can be right now, because I think it is cold outside and I don't want to get my fur in a uproar...I even punish MOMMY when she messes with my fur! Shame on you MOMMY!

I have captured the enemy and it is mine!

Well I have been doing a bit of playing today. Of course I don't really play, to me it is serious business! I caught myself a tennis ball today and I made it mine! Why does it think it can roll around here with impunity? I am not going to let it happen. I think that I need to make sure that I always take the time to catch balls, moths, little mice and anything else that wants to invade my domain. I am the master and all the little items that roll in here need to know it..Oh yeah, oh yeah, who's the master? Milo is of course!

Getting on Mommy's Nerves

Well, I have been occupying myself with trying to break into the new roomie's room while he is not here. Hey, if there is one thing I really can not stand it is a door that is shut and designed to keep me out! Hey, what is this? I am a chill cat. I never go potty inappropriately, and I rarely scratch things. I feel that I deserve to go into any room in this place anytime! Who's with me on that? I am sure all you cat's will agree! Anyway, there is a certain reason why I want to go in there and mostly, it is because I want to scout it out! All we cats do not liked locked doors and closed off room..Hey, I own this place!!! Am I right?

Update on my life..

I have been telling mommy she needs to blog, but she has been having computer issues and has had to juggle from device to device. It doesn't make it easy to blog as she has information stored in a few different places! Well, enough about her, I want to talk about me! I have been enjoying getting to know the new roommate who kind of reminds me of the Jolly Green Giant, except for the fact he is not green! Well, anyway, I am not too sure about him, but to the best of my knowledge he does not eat cats so that is good news as far as I am concerned Wheew! Now, if mommy gets back to regular blogging like she should, I will be happy!

Sorry, I have been remiss!

Mommy wanted me to blog, but I have just been chilling and hiding from the summer sun. I am back and ready to give my two cents about a few things. One of the things I am crazy about is Temptations Cat treats by Frisky. I think they are super delicious and really get my attention. I am a really lucky kitty that Mommy got a coupon for these treats in the mail! I think they are so good, that I am often tempted to break into the cat food jar to get these out! These are very good and tasty little treats!

My Day

Well so far, my day has consisted of getting up, getting a little grub, using the litter pan, which I like to do in complete privacy, I may add! Hanging out in my special hiding place, which Chad and mommy are clueless to, and I like it that way, coming out for a bit and hanging in mommy's lap. Going back to my place, and coming out again for some cheese. At night, I like to hang out with mommy, but during the day I sleep and rest in my special places where I can't be disturbed. How has your day been? Mine was basically run of the mill.

Yes, it's summer, summertime is here!

I am spending most of this summer trying to stay cool. I have several hiding places, that are designed to keep me cool. I want to kick back and sleep more than usual because of course I have a fur coat! I am much happier when the temps are 70 degrees and below. All I want to do really is sleep when the weather is this hot. I have a nice shady spot under the bed that I park myself in during the day. I am smart! I know heat rises so on the floor I go. I also like to sprawl out on the floor! How do you other kitties stay cool this summer? Let me know..I am thinking of investing in a fan!

Hot is the Word!

I have to  make sure I stay cool because it is very hot out! Luckily, mommy ssometimes shares a bite of ice cream or "cold milk" as I like to call it! I think it is one of the ways I can beat the heat. She never lets it get too hot in here though however. I think that is one of the good things about mommy. It never gets more than 75 or 80 in here, because mommy knows that we pets are sensitive to the heat. She is nice like that..I love mommy!! She is a great cat parent.

He's coming again!

Things have been quiet and peaceful around here since the little dog Jax has not been here, but good things never last long. He will be back in my life today and I think tomorrow too! Oh my what did I do to deserve this? Anyway, I am going to find a nice out of the way place where I can observe the action and not be part of it. Like Jackson Galaxy, the Cats From Hell Guy says, give us some height and we are usually happy. A nice out of the way place to have our own little space where we can observe the action is right up our alley. It is just one of the good things that we can enjoy!

I'm Doing a Happy Dance Today!

Today Jax is going to stay with his original owner in his other home for awhile..Can I help you pack your bags Jax? Hey, it's been OK having him around..but I need some peace and quiet. I like to chill, and it is hard to do that with him around. I also like to crash at night and do a bit of snoring. BTW< I am not unhealthy, a bit of light snoring in cats is OK. Jax like to sleep as well, but sometimes he is restless at night..and wakes me up out of a sound sleep! OK Jax, I do not like that. We will see you again sometime..but I need a break!

Restless Night

Well Jax insisted on invading the bed again last night. I really didn't like it, but Mommy insisted on it. One thing about the dog, at least he is small and doesn't take up much room! Jax doesn't have much going for him, but that would be one of the things! Anyway, it took awhile for me to calm down and realize that I had space and time with mommy. I know she really wouldn't forget me! After all, I am her number one son! Meow!

The Interloper

So, without even asking my permission mommy is allowing Jax, the little dog to move in here permanently. He is noisy and is usurping my prime position in the house! Wow, Just wow, how am I supposed to get along with this crazy little dude? He acts so silly, everytime mommy comes in the house, Jax acts like she has been gone for hours! I mean..get a grip guy! It is important to maintain your cool at all times. You need to be more like me! I am cool as a cucumber under almost all circumstances. However, now when a moth comes in here, that is another story. Someone needs to show all flying insects and others who is boss!

ZZZZZz

 It is pretty boring today so I might as well catch some Z's. Chad went out this morning and was banging around on the porch. That is about the only excitement I got. Mommy was ignoring me..so I went under the table to sleep, that got boring, so I decided to sit on my perch. It is perfect and just the right size. It cradles my body. Some day I will include a picture of myself and all my gloriousness sitting on the perch. It is the best place to relax and enjoy life! Happy a Happy Friday..all you feline lovers..!

So, this morning, I tried to tell mommy, I wanted to get up. I stared at her. I jumped around on the bed, no response. I scratched myself loudly.I tried to politely sheath my claws and poke her in the face.  However, mommy has no idea that I like to get up and get my day started when the sun is up. I have to wait, and wait! Anyway, since mommy just doesn't get it I have to resort to poking her in the face with my claw. No I am not trying to hurt her..but darn it, that woman needs to move! I think that I should try to meow in front of the alarm clock every night, maybe I could get her to set it for 6AM every day. After all, a cat needs to be fed around here! I also want my drink of water, and to get some exercise.

I am going to be a star

Mommy told me that she might print a Kindle books using my thoughts and ideas. That would be so cool. I would love to star in my own book, and lets face it, I am worth it folks! I have a high opinion of myself because lets face it, it is warranted! Let my face be on a kindle book and let the world know about Milo. I am sleeping right now on mommy. I know mommy ordered my prescription cat food from Chewy.com as it seems to have the best prices on the food that I need. It is just one of the good things that I can eat when I am trying to make sure that I stay protected from urinary crystals that cause me pain. Welcome me back folks, because I am here to stay.
